THE  BIRDS OF THE MOON

I have always asked why the birds sing in darkness.

Is that for this peaceful morning waking up,

Or they are that drowsy woken up from dream

And are singing for their fear was woken up in their heart.

But they are still here, their singing is reaching,

It is heard in darkness like light  quivering,

 Lulling in its light tactfulness

The birds of the Moon surrounded by darkness.

Mjesečeve ptice

Uvijek sam se pitao zašto pjevaju u mraku?

Je li to zbog jutra što se budi

ili su onako snene iz sna probuđene

i pjevaju jer ih je strah.

Ali one još su tu, dopire njihov pjev

što u mraku treperi poput titraja lakih

uspavljujući svojim lakim taktom

mjesečeve ptice okružene mrakom.
